The Bachelor of Architectural course at the Aurora's Design Institute is designed to create emerging architectural professionals with fundamental competencies in design ability, problem solving, technical skill, and theoretical frameworks that give graduates the capability to address complex problems of the built and natural environment in the 21st century and beyond. This program recognizes the challenges of designing for diverse communities and cultures in a globalised world where there are modernizing threats to traditional cultures, complexities in generating sustainable environments and constant upgradation in technological aspects of modern life

This programme prepares graduates with theoretical and practical experience relating to design, problem solving, construction and communication that can be applied to a wide range of careers. Graduates of this degree may gain employment in architectural firms, government, construction, development, infrastructure and planning industries in India and around the world.

Public engagement is fostered through an annual lecture series that highlights the work and ideas of national and international practitioners and academics; special exhibitions of work; and various forms of publication and dissemination

The strategic thinking, visual creativity, public engagement, design and technology skills, and entrepreneurial outlook developed during the course provides graduates with a wide range of career opportunities such as the creative industries.

Admission Process

The prospective students must appear for NATA(National Aptitude Test in Architecture) Online Exam and secure minimum 40% marks. The awarding of ranks is based on cumulative of NATA -50% (Maximum) plus 50% of qualifying exams.The exam pattern is as per revised pattern (2017)

Eligibility Criteria

(10+2 (or) equivalent with Math’s as compulsory subject) -50% (Maximum)
i.e. 10+2 OR 10+3 years Diploma recognizes by the Central/ State Governments OR Equivalent.

Job Opportunities:

B.Arch. graduates can work as independent professionals or can take up in Govt., or private sectors. Anyone who had successfully completed B.Arch. can register with COA. For those interested in pursuing further studies either in India or abroad, there are various courses available at post graduate level.

A graduate may choose a career diversion into Urban Planning, Urban Design, Conservation Architecture, Environmental Design, Project Management, Interior Design or Landscape Design. Besides there are lot of allied fields requiring Architectural skills in Film/TV set making, Industrial Design, Model Making and Digital Visualization, Architectural Journalism & Lighting Design.

Govt. agencies like CPWD, UPSC organizes examinations for registered candidates to recruit them in various departments. Teaching in this field is also another option for a progressive career.
